Michael Gould, CEO and Co-Founder of Whisper Energy Systems, Inc.

Michael GouldMichael Gould is a licensed clinical psychologist who owns and operates a psychological testing practice in the Los Angeles area. He attended the University of California, Irvine for his undergraduate degree, and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and the California School for Professional Psychology for his graduate degrees. In 2007, in an attempt to reduce the considerable noise and air pollution associated with conventional gasoline-powered landscape maintenance companies, Michael founded Whisper Landscape Maintenance, Inc. Under the advisement of Brian Jensen, mechanical engineer and CTO of Whisper Landscape Maintenance, Inc., Michael designed and built large capacity lithium-based rechargeable battery packs to power cordless mowers, blowers, string trimmers, etc. This company was the first of its kind to deliver zero-emission, virtually silent gardening services on a commercial scale in the Los Angeles area.

Michael successfully ran Whisper Landscape Maintenance, Inc. for five years and grew the business to the point of employing five full-time gardeners who serviced two complete routes, spanning from Santa Monica and the San Fernando Valley to Pasadena. On January 1, 2013, Michael sold the service-oriented assets of Whisper Landscape Maintenance, Inc. to a Santa Monica-based company, Sea Breeze Landscaping, allowing him to pursue further innovations with regard to portable electric power supply systems. In 2014, Michael and Brian co-founded Whisper Energy Systems Inc. and are actively involved in various product development projects aimed at expanding the utility and application of portable electric power supply systems across various commercial industries.

On a personal note, Michael enjoys cooking and gardening with his wife and six-year-old daughter, and bicycling in the Santa Monica Mountains every weekend with friends.
